About Gary’s Music
Gary Lekas and Gary’s Music have been serving the southeastern Wisconsin area since September of 1996. Armed with the motto: "It's about musicians serving musicians,” Gary has done just that – built a music store in the heart of downtown Racine, filled with musicians, ready, willing, and able to serve the local music community.
With over 45 years of musical experience, Gary is truly a musician’s musician. After beginning in school band in grade school, Gary proceeded to play in many locally reknowned bands like The Line’s End, Gary Angel and Roy, and Fun Factory. Gary spent most of the 70’s traveling and performing on the road with various show bands, spending five straight years on the road, and recording several 45’s and LPs. In the 80’s Gary became a worship leader, writing and recording many original gospel songs, a career that has stuck, today he plays every Sunday at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection with the Revelation band.

Beach Band and The Gary’s Music All-Stars, working various sound jobs
with Power Audio, or you can find him where he is most at home, as the owner
operator of Gary’s Music.
Gary Lekas, Owner
Gary is not new to the music scene. His love for music started at a very young age and continues to this day. As early as high school he was playing major shows (with groups like the Birds, Styx and REO Speedwagon) and recording singles. In the early 70s, he made his living on the road traveling with various musical acts across the country. Although it was not an easy life, it was a great educational experience that taught him to become a very well-rounded musician.
